with GUEST: Dr. Maria Peiro
It is painfully obvious - that We…in the past - have not elected the majority of correct men and women for representation. Not that it was solely our error - it could be those running for office either lied to us while asking for our vote or they changed once in office. It could be a variety of reasons - money greed and power come to mind. With that said - that is one mistake that we can correct going forward into the future.
WE MUST START ELECTING THOSE WHO SAY WHAT THEY MEAN AND MEAN WHAT THEY SAY.
Maria Peiro is running against illegal alien amnesty lover Ileana Ros-Lehtinen in Florida.
Time Has Come Folks - educate yourselves and vote wisely

Dr. Maria Peiro was born in Cuba where she lived under communism. Her father was a political prisoner in Cuba during her childhood. At the age of eight, she migrated legally with her parents to the U.S. Her father worked two jobs and her mother worked in a factory while they went to school to learn English and better themselves. During their first years in the U.S., on weekends, the whole family would go to Homestead to pick tomatoes and earn extra money to make ends meet. She grew up poor but with a great sense of work ethics and self-reliance. Her hard work and dedication is what helped her rise out of poverty.
As an adult, while working full-time and raising her two daughters, she went to college full-time to further her education. She earned an Associate in Arts Degree in Elementary Education; a Bachelor’s in Science Degree in Elementary Education; a Master’s Degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages; and a PhD in Science and Mathematics Education. Dr. Peiro has been an educator for 21 years. She has taught students of many ages from elementary school all the way up to college and PhD level courses. Dr. Peiro also ran a small business, which provided educational services to college and doctoral students.

Dr. Peiro Receives the Highest Grade on Immigration at NumbersUSA
Today, Dr. Maria Peiro received the highest grade on immigration at NumbersUSA. Her opponent, Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, fails miserably in comparison.
Dr. Peiro is labeled as a “True Reformer” while Congresswoman Ros-Lehtinen received a grade of F minus.
Dr. Peiro said, “I stand by my high marks on the issue of immigration. I am committed to stopping illegal immigration, securing our borders, and making sure that our immigration laws are enforced. My opponent, Ros-Lehtinen, has supported open borders and illegal immigration with her votes in Congress. She has voted against completing the fence around our porous Southern border and against punishing sanctuary cities that harbor illegal aliens. She has voted in favor of giving amnesty to illegal aliens . If I am elected to Congress, I will put Americans first. With millions of Americans out of work, we cannot continue to allow the nonstop flow of illegal aliens into the U.S. who are competing for those jobs and lowering the wages of American workers. The American worker must be protected. I will do just that.”

Dr. Peiro Receives Endorsement from Floridians for Immigration Enforcement (FLIMEN)
Floridians for Immigration Enforcement (FLIMEN) has endorsed Dr. Maria Peiro for Florida’s Congressional District 27 for the U.S. House of Representatives in the 2016 primary.
The FLIMEN endorsement reads:
“Dr. Peiro offers a clear alternative to the failed policies of Representative Ileana Ros-Lehtinen. Policies that have contributed to the social and economic decline of Miami in the 27 years Ros-Lehtinen has held this office.”
“Dr. Peiro, a legal immigrant, understands stopping “Illegal Immigration” is a key component in restoring the American Dream for legal workers, and key to the safety and security of all Americans.”
“With Headlines like “Miami is the Worst City to Live in America” it is time for a change. Elect Dr. Maria Peiro.”
Dr. Peiro welcomes FLIMEN’s endorsement. She stated, “I would like to thank FLIMEN for their endorsement. They have long been advocates for immigration enforcement in Florida, and we share the same concerns regarding illegal immigration. Illegal immigration hurts U.S. citizens and legal immigrants. It causes unemployment of Americans and lowers their wages as they are replaced by cheap foreign labor. In a city such as Miami where unemployment is high and U.S. citizens as well as legal immigrants have a difficult time making a living wage, stopping illegal immigration should be a top priority. However, my opponent, Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, panders to the illegal immigration crowd instead of fighting for the American worker. Unlike Ros-Lehtinen, I will prioritize the American worker.”

Dr. Peiro Supports Congressman King’s Bill, Sarah’s Law
“Congressman Steve King has introduced a bill titled ‘Sarah’s Law’ in the U.S. House of Representatives. I fully support Sarah’s Law, and if I were a congresswoman right now, I would sign up as a co-sponsor.”
“King named the bill after Sarah Root, a 21-year-old killed by an illegal alien drunk driver in January 2016. At the time of his arrest, Eswin Mejia, an illegal alien from Honduras was not taken into custody by Immigration and Custom Enforcement (ICE). ICE informed the police that he did not meet enforcement priority. ICE was following an Obama administration’s immigration enforcement memo, which states that illegal aliens with no prior significant misdemeanor or felony conviction are not to be given an ICE detainer.”
“Without ICE’s detainer, Mejia went before a local judge who had no knowledge of Mejia’s immigration status. The crime occurred in a sanctuary city where judges are not allowed to ask a defendant’s immigration status. Consequently, Mejia was released on a $5,000 bond, and right upon leaving the court house, he vanished.”
“Sarah’s Law requires U.S. ICE to take into custody illegal aliens who have been charged in the United States with a crime resulting in the death or serious bodily injury of another person.”
“Sarah’s Law is a step in the right direction. However, sanctuary cities must also be punished for breaking federal law. Had the judge in this case been allowed to ask about the criminal’s immigration status, he would not have received such a lenient sentence. My opponent, Congresswoman Ros-Lehtinen, refuses to take federal funds away from sanctuary cities. In fact, she voted not too long ago to fund sanctuary cities. If I am elected, I will support and take action on defunding sanctuary cities.”
