Actor Steven Seagal considering run for Arizona governor
Arizona’s self-proclaimed “America’s Toughest Sheriff” enlisted the combat services of actor Steven Seagal to train a volunteer posse through a simulated school shooting on Saturday. The event was part of the sheriff’s controversial plan of placing armed volunteers guard Phoenix-area schools.
Seagal has spent years in law enforcement training and has a special interest in border issues. Department officials say he will offer pointers to the staff in a series of seminars this year.
“We could get this type of training elsewhere, but there’s just something special about Mr. Seagal. Just say his name and people take notice. He’s revered by the members of our department,” Doña Ana County Sheriff’s Department spokeswoman Kelly Jameson told the Los Angeles Times.
Seagal has been involved in law enforcement in Louisiana and Arizona, where he assists Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio’s civilian force of volunteers to provide police protection at malls during the holidays, direct traffic at wreck scenes and transport suspected undocumented immigrants to jail.

Long before he became a movie star, actor Steven Seagal taught martial arts and later stunt men how to do their tricks in the movies. Never needing a stunt man of his own in a movie, Seagal is about to embark on a new venture…that of an instructor for a training mission on how to respond to a shooting - specifically a school shooting.
“America’s Toughest Sheriff” Joe Arpaio has enlisted the help of Seagal – a member of his “armed volunteer posse” - to lead the training on how they should respond to a school schooting. The “exercise” will involve six instructors, 40 members of the “posse”, and teens playing the role of students as they focus on the various aspects of managing a shooting scene that include entry tactics and hand to hand tactics. The event will take place at a Fountain Hills school.
Arpaio who is known for his tough stance on crime and what he perceives as threats to America has already set up patrols in area schools in the wake of the shooting in Newton, Connecticut in December. “The mission is to patrol the perimeter of the schools as a prevention measure,” said Arpaio.
An 8th degree dan in Aikido, Seagal is a Sheriff’s deputy in Hudspeth County, New Mexico and is a deputy in Jefferson Parish, Louisiana.

Steven Frederic Seagal was born on April 10, 1952 in Lansing, Michigan. He began his martial arts training when he was seven years old and achieved the ranking of 1st degree dan in 1974 at the age of 22 in Japan where he had moved to study martial arts.

An accomplished musician, Seagal has been playing the guitar since he was 12 years old. The blues man has honed his skills to a fine art and over the years has played with blues legends B B King, Bo Diddley, Clarence “Gatemouth” Brown, and John Lee Hooker. He has released two albums - “Songs from the Crystal Cave” and “Mojo Priest”; he is currently working on a third album.

As a musician, Seagal has had his music appear in “Marked for Death”, “Out for Justice”, “Under Siege 2: Dark Territory”, “The Glimmer Man”, “Fire Down Below”, “Ticker”, and “Into the Sun”.

A producer, director, writer, and actor Seagal has appeared in over three dozen roles including his 1988 film debut in “Above the Law”, “Hard to Kill”, “Marked for Death”, “Out for Justice”, “Under Siege”, “On Deadly Ground”, “Under Siege 2: Dark Territory”, “Executive Decision”, “The GlimmerMan”, “Fire Down Below”, “The Patriot”, “Ticker”, “Into the Sun”, “Submerged”, “Machete”, and “True Justice”.

(CNSNews.com) – Speaking at the United States Conference of Mayors on Friday, Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson said the approximately 11 million people who are in the country illegally have “earned the right to be citizens.”
“An earned path to citizenship for those currently present in this country is a matter of, in my view, homeland security to encourage people to come out from the shadows,” said Johnson, in what he remarked was one of his first public speeches since being confirmed as the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) chief in December.
“It is also, frankly, in my judgment, a matter of who we are as Americans,” he said, “to offer the opportunity to those who want to be citizens, who’ve earned the right to be citizens, who are present in this country-many of whom came here as children-to have the opportunity that we all have to try to become American citizens.”
Johnson, who had earlier served as general counsel for the Department of Defense under Obama from 2009 to 2012, told the more than 270 mayors in attendance that enforcing immigration law was one of the main missions of DHS.
“The five core missions of the Department of Homeland Security are guarding against terrorism, securing our borders, enforcing our nation’s immigration laws, safeguarding cyberspace and critical infrastructure in partnership with the private sector, and supporting emergency preparedness and response efforts at every level,” Johnson said.
Then he concluded his remarks by calling for “comprehensive, common sense, immigration reform.”
“Common sense immigration reform is supported by the U.S. Conference of Mayors, businesses, and if the polls (are) to be believed, the majority of the American people,” Johnson said. “Border security is inseparable from homeland security.”
“And border security must and should be part of comprehensive immigration reform – protecting our borders, securing our ports, promoting the lawful flow of trade and travel through our ports to cities and other communities,” he said.
Johnson touted the alleged improvement in border security over the last four years and said comprehensive immigration reform also would increase that security.
“Comprehensive immigration reform would also promote a more effective and efficient system for enforcing our immigration laws, and should include an earned path to citizenship for the approximately 11-and-a-half-million undocumented immigrants present in this country, something like 86% of whom have been here almost 10 years,” Johnson said.
“An earned path to citizenship for those currently present in this country is a matter of, in my view, homeland security to encourage people to come out from the shadows, to be accountable, to participate in the American experience, the American society,” he said.
“It is also, frankly, in my judgment, a matter of who we are as Americans,” said Johnson. “To offer the opportunity to those who want to be citizens, who’ve earned the right to be citizens, who are present in this country – many of whom who came here as children – to have the opportunity that we all have to try to become American citizens.”

A three-year-old Utah boy has been killed after an allegedly drunk driving illegal immigrant rear-ended his family’s car while it was stopped at a red light, causing a five-vehicle pile up.

After a disgraceful wait of 20 years since Edgar Arias Tamayo murdered Houston police officer Guy P. Gaddis in 1994, and despite repeated pleas from U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry and demands from the Mexican government, Tamayo was finally executed minutes ago by lethal injection.
Although his execution was originally scheduled for 6pm Texas time Wednesday evening, an Obama-appointed judge senselessly threw the case up to the U.S. Supreme Court to review his absurd “appeals” (based solely on the “consular” nonsense — Tamayo has never denied his guilt).
Finally at 9pm EST, the Supreme Court denied his appeals, 6-3, and the execution was on. At 9:32 Tamayo was finally put down.
If you’re one of the more than 100,000 people who have read our reports of the shameful attempts by Kerry, Mexico and the U.N. to browbeat Texas into sparing the life of this snake, then you will know how deserved was Tamayo’s punishment.
What is truly sad is that Officer Gaddis’ family had to wait so long when the facts and guilt of Tamayo were never in dispute — only ridiculous international politics.

2 nabbed at Texas border in credit card fraud case

A South Texas police chief said Monday that two Mexican citizens who were arrested at the border used account information stolen during the Target security breach to buy tens of thousands of dollars’ worth of merchandise. But a federal official said later there currently was no connection between the arrests and the retailer’s credit card data theft.
McAllen Police Chief Victor Rodriguez said Mary Carmen Garcia, 27, and Daniel Guardiola Dominguez, 28, both of Monterrey, Mexico, had used cards containing the account information of South Texas residents. Rodriguez said they were used to purchase numerous items at national retailers in the area including Best Buy, Wal-Mart and Toys R Us.

Jobs are scarce, and Congress is cooking up a scheme to make them scarcer. The Labor Department reported Friday that the economy created only 74,000 jobs in December, the lowest comparable number in three years, and half of those were part-time jobs. It’s bad out there, and getting worse. President Obama’s “recovery” is recovery with no jobs.

House Judiciary chairman Rep. Bob Goodlatte has reposted a statement opposing an immigration amnesty that had been previously removed from his website.
His reversal came two days after the Republican’s base reacted to the news that he had dropped his language against amnesty.
On Saturday, his staff re-revised his website, which now says, “I remain opposed to amnesty, as I always have been. I do not support a special pathway to citizenship that rewards those who have broken our immigration laws.”

Gowdy says the immigration proposal that his committee is focused on and one that Boehner has been very supportive of has nothing to do with winning elections or appealing to groups who formerly didn’t associate with the Republican Party. Rather he says it has to do with border security, internal security, and what’s best for the country and those are the principles Boehner will likely put into writing.
He says, among his colleagues in the House, there is no appetite for Amnesty as it is commonly defined.

Spending Deal Continues Funding USDA Program to Promote Food Stamps to Illegal Aliens

The more than $1 trillion federal appropriations measure passed today in the House does not eliminate a controversial program initiated by the Department of Agriculture and with the assistance of the Mexican government that promotes food stamps through outreach and advertising to illegal immigrants living in and coming into the United States.
In fact, it only “strongly” encourages the Department of Agricultural to stop the program, according to the explanatory statement offered by House Appropriations Committee Chairman Hal Rogers. Rogers worked out the arrangement with Senate counterpart Sen. Barbara Mikulski (D-MD) in consultations before the bill was filed.
Although federal law requires that those granted entry into the U.S. must be able to support themselves financially, the administration continues to promote food stamps to illegal aliensthrough SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program).

By the end of the year TBV members had reported a total of 818 illegal aliens trespassing on private property to Border Patrol, a 253 percent increase over the previous year. Members of so-called ‘self-defense groups’ entered the town of Nueva Italia on a campaign they say is designed to liberate towns from the control of the Knights Templar cartel.
Opponents and critics say the vigilantes are backed by a rival cartel, however the groups vehemently deny any connection.

Several years ago the town of Fremont was inundated with many illegal alien workers. They worked at the nearby meat packing plants located near, but outside the City limits of Fremont. The schools and jobs of the Freemont citizens were being severely impacted.
The people of Fremont went to their City Council for help. They requested local legislation mandating E-Verify compliance for local businesses in Freemont, as well as requiring rental property owners to rent only to people legally present in the United States. The Fremont City Council turned down their request cold. No!
The people of Fremont then launched a campaign, and gathered signatures to petition the City Council to place on the ballot at the next election local legislation on E-Verify and rental property against illegal immigration. They collected hundreds of signatures, but once again, the City Council of Fremont said NO!
The citizens of Fremont believing in self-governance hit the streets and pounded the pavement to gather signatures to force the issue onto the ballot at the next election. The people prevailed and they gathered the required signatures to place the issue on the ballot. At the election the measure requiring E-Verify and Legal Presence for rental property occupation was passed by the citizens overwhelmingly.
The ACLU immediately filed a law suit and challenged the measure. Implementation of the law was postponed. After several years, two appeals, and thousands of tax payer dollars spent, 60 days ago the appellate court decided that the Fremont ordinance is legal and constitutional. The ACLU has just a few more days to petition the U.S. Supreme Court for a hearing, which is their final legal option in this process. So you are thinking, halleluiah…right? Finally the people prevail!
But the first week after the final court decision, the Fremont City Council announced they were going to change the ordinance and remove the portion regarding rental property. WHY YOU ASK? Because the landlords, many of whom are members and associates of the City Council and their big business associates and meat packing plants are impacted by the law, and they want to continue to break the law Now remember, implementation of the ordinance was suspended throughout the entire process. But now that the ordinance has been upheld in court, they know their chances of being granted a Supreme Court hearing are slim and none, so ……they want to dismantled what the people have passed as law, what the courts have upheld as legal, and now the people’s right to self-government is being taken away by special interest and influence of the local city council!
The citizens of Fremont stormed the City Council to oppose dismantling the ordinance. So the Fremont City Council, in their infinite wisdom, voted to convene a special election on February 11, 2014 to put this matter to a vote again! Yes you read that correctly, they want a do-over. (Think the American people could get a do-over of the 2012 election?)
The opposition and supporters of illegal immigration and businesses who hire illegal aliens are funneling thousands of dollars to try and get the vote to go their way. American citizens and legal immigrants in Fremont who believe that law and order should be upheld, and in a government of the people, for the people, by the people find themselves once again in battle against corruption and special interest politics! Needless to say, they intend to recall the City Council once this matter is decided again, but until then, they need our help. They need financial assistance for direct mail pieces, door hangers, flyers, phone bank and a rally. Please help in any way you are able.
Make the Fremont Battle, your battle. We need to take back our country, one town at a time, help us save Fremont and the American process of self-governance!

Union City, New Jersey (CNN) - Flanked by Hispanic leaders, students, and immigration reform advocates, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie celebrated the signing of his state’s so-called DREAM Act on Tuesday, hailing the new law a sound economic choice and an object lesson in bipartisan cooperation.
“We know that when we bring people together, when we work together despite some of our differences, that we also set an example of optimism for every one of the 8.9 million people who live here,” Christie said at a signing event in Union City, a Hispanic stronghold just across the Hudson River from Manhattan.

“Unlike what happens in Washington, that government can actually work for you,” he added. “That things can actually get done, that agreements can be reached, and that commitments can be kept.”

On Friday, the Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles began issuing so-called ‘Drivers’ Authorization Cards’ to illegal aliens. One need only present a foreign birth certificate, along with a passport or a Matricula Consular card to apply for the permits, which are good for one year.
In May 2013, the measure known as SB303, easily passed the Democrat-led Nevada state legislature, and Republican Governor Brian Sandoval signed the bill into law, extending driving privileges to those here illegally.
Gov. Sandoval told reporters:
Allowing undocumented immigrants to obtain a driver’s privilege card will increase the number of drivers on Nevada’s roads that are insured and aware of traffic rules and regulations.”
However, there is one problem…
Though thousands of illegal aliens have already applied for the ‘Drivers’ Authorization Cards,’ only about one-fourth of them have actually been able to obtain one.
DMV spokesman David Fierro told KOLO 8 News:
We’re seeing a pretty high failure rate state-wide. It’s about 75 percent”

I have said this to a certain extent too… Rush is talking about what they are doing up to the point where I believe the blackmail - worst of two evils comes in.
Rush is proposing that the GOP is purposely waiting until after filings have closed as not to fire up (True American) candidates like Conservatives, Constitutionalists and the Tea Party - then when filing is closed - that where the blackmail enters - Vote for Us Or Else……..

On New Year’s Eve, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) announced the apprehension of “11 illegal alien sex offenders,” who were caught trying to illegally re-enter the country from Mexico.
The CBP press release stated:
All apprehensions took place at, or close to the border near the cities of Calexico, El Centro and Indio, Calif. The illegal aliens are all men with a criminal history for felony convictions that range anywhere from sexual intercourse with a child, to rape and sodomy; many of the sex offenders were apprehended traveling in groups with women and children.

Van Buren man known as ‘Border Guy’ gets 10 years for running cocaine from Texas to Canada

BANGOR, Maine — A Van Buren man known as “The Border Guy” was sentencedFriday in U.S. District Court to 10 years in prison for his role in a drug-running scheme that brought cocaine from Texas to Canada through Maine.
Robert Rossignol, 61, pleaded guilty in March to charges of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute and to distribute five kilograms or more of cocaine and failure to report the importation of $10,000 or more and aiding and abetting the same.
Five kilograms of cocaine is equal to about 11 pounds of the drug.
