Did Hillary Just Outplayed Every Republican Candidate on Illegal Immigration?

If you are involved in fighting illegal immigration or have a minimal clue of our political process… you know that Clinton alone cannot make the statements she is spewing. Clinton cannot grant amnesty without Congress and one would think that a candidate with trustworthy issues would not throw out promises at the top of a hat that she cannot solely keep. Yes, I know that Obama is doing it on a smaller level but prosecutorial discretion does not include a full out blanket amnesty. It should be noted the even with a majority in Congress - Obama did not keep those campaign empty promises. Let’s hope that someone questions Clinton on this unconstitutional argument and that those Democrats who stand with
you and I …against rewarding illegal aliens with a pass - sound off and have they voices heard.
As for the Republican Party Candidates - have they just been outplayed? While many attempt to take a middle road on the issue of illegal immigration (with the exception of Bush) and are not clearly stating their future plans on the issue, Clinton has shared her position - not actions mind you - just political campaign narrative - so will we now see the GOP ’uping’ their game by making unprofessional and unconstitutional promises they cannot keep and pandering for votes with promises of amnesty?
SIMPLY PUT: Will the GOP Candidates try to keep up with or out pander Clinton on this issue?
If so - is there a line/reward/empty promise that they will not cross - in their attempts to keep up with the Clintons and Hillary’s egregious statements? If this is the sort of leadership that they posses, then what is the difference really between the two major parties? And, why is it that neither party acknowledge the fact that the majority of Americans do not support amnesty for illegal aliens?
And if not, then why continue the games and not just get down to business with their future intentions.
Instead of clarifying their positions on illegal immigration like Clinton just did with her unlawful agenda… Republicans continue to use those empty tired old comments and quotes that “we must address border security first” but the reality is, that the border could have been and should have been secured in 1986 as we were promised - it was not and still is not secured today.
It could be if only the political will was there.
The insanity already has begun, May 6th I heard Noelle Nikpour state on Neil Cavuto that…”Rubio and Bush both speak Spanish - Clinton does not and cannot speak their language“…… WHAT!!!
The Language of the land should be and is English - so now we have Republican Strategists pushing Spanish as if it was a great campaign point - what happened to the talking points of …they must learn English? Apparently for individuals like Noelle Nikpour and those who will help push this insanity …. assimilation is not important - nor is our immigration laws. Quite frankly the candidate that campaigns in Spanish is just another reason that will ensure they do not get my vote.

It is shameful that the Texas Legislature fails to acknowledge the huge influx of OTMs (Other Than Mexican) that continue to flow across the border. They would prefer for the average, every day citizen (voter) to view anyone crossing the border as poor Mexicans just looking for work. Nothing could be further from the truth.

Will Obstruct Border Patrol Agents On-The-Job
Newly elected Rep Norma Torres (D) Ontario, CA, has introduced a bill that would require the Department of Homeland Security to assess the Department’s ability to serve individuals with limited English proficiency.

The bill would require a strategic plan and a timeline for implementation.
“Rep Norma Torres’ legislation sends the wrong message to DHS departments, such as our border patrol agents,” Robin Hvidston, Executive Director of We The People Rising, said. “Our Department of Homeland Security should be focused on securing the homeland not facilitating those who are not proficient in English. This would be a taxpayer funded program that would not be focused on securing the border.”
Nationwide coalitions are mobilized to stop HR 1829 in committee.
According to Rep Norma Torres, the DHS Communication Enhancement Act requires the Secretary of Homeland Security to assess the Department’s ability to serve individuals with limited English proficiency and requires the Secretary to submit to Congress a summary of its findings and a plan.
“This bill does not promote border security, and it should be shelved at the committee stage,” Hvidston said.
A campaign of concerned citizens has launched a nationwide effort calling for citizens to contact their U.S. Representatives and the House of Representatives Homeland Security Committee. Constituents will attend the Rep Norma Torres May 7th Congress on Your Corner Montclair, CA event to express their stance on the newly introduced legislation.
“At the May 7th event, our message to Rep Torres is clear and simple: help Americans. Torres Introduces First Bill: DHS Communication Enhancement Act

WASHINGTON, DC - Today, Congresswoman Norma J. Torres (D-CA) introduced the DHS Communication Enhancement Act, a bill that requires the Department of Homeland Security to assess its ability to effectively serve and communicate with individuals of limited English proficiency.
“Every year, the Department of Homeland Security interacts with thousands of individuals who don’t speak English, often in their most vulnerable times,” said Torres. “The ability to effectively communicate with the people it serves is critical to the Department’s mission to protect our nation.”
The DHS Communication Enhancement Act requires the Secretary of Homeland Security to assess the Department’s ability to serve individuals with limited English proficiency and requires the Secretary to submit to Congress a summary of its findings and a plan, including a timeline for implementation, to improve the Department’s ability to serve non-English speakers.
“I have spent my political career working to make sure under-represented and non-English speaking communities have access to critical services. Nowhere is that more important than in DHS’s work,” continued Torres. “With employees spread across 22 different sub-agencies working to secure our cities from terrorist attacks, protect and ensure the efficient movement of people and goods at our airports and borders, and help communities recover from natural disasters, this bill will help the Department better protect our diverse population and keep the American people safe.”
Earlier reports by the Government Accountability Office and DHS itself have shown deficiencies in the capacity of individual components of DHS to interact with and effectively serve non-English speaking communities. This legislation will keep the Department accountable by not only requiring an assessment but a Department-wide strategic plan and a timeline for implementation.

A BILL
To require the Secretary of Homeland Security to assess and submit to Congress a report on the ability of the Department of Homeland Security to convey information to, collect information from, and serve individuals with limited English proficiency.
1.
Short Title
This Act may be cited as the DHS Communication Enhancement Act of 2015.
2.
Assessing and developing a plan to improve DHS communication with and service of individuals with limited English proficiency
(a)
Assessment
Not later than 180 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Secretary of Homeland Security, acting through the Under Secretary for Management, shall complete an assessment of the ability of the Department of Homeland Security to convey information to, collect information from, and serve individuals with limited English proficiency. With respect to each component in the Department, the assessment shall—
(1)
identify the languages spoken fluently and read by individuals with limited English proficiency commonly encountered by personnel of the component;
(2)
review the public materials of the component to assess the extent to which the materials are available in the languages identified under paragraph (1); and
(3)
assess the ability of personnel of the component to communicate with and serve individuals with limited English proficiency.
(b)
Report; implementation plan
Not later than 1 year after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Secretary shall submit a report to the Committee on Homeland Security of the House of Representatives and the Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs of the Senate concerning the assessment under subsection (a). Such report shall include—
(1)
a summary of the findings of such assessment for each component of the Department; and
(2)
a plan, including a timeline for implementation, developed in consultation with the head of each component, to improve the ability of each component to convey information to, collect information from, and serve individuals with limited English proficiency.
